Five years have passed since Giotto finished the frescoes in the Scrovegni
Chapel in Padua. La Brenta rises from his bed to find the floodwater ascending
the legs of his marble chair. Note the Argentine fighter caught in enemy
sights. (The work was undertaken at the height of the Falklands War).
